Fallo protetto! is a unique condom design by Rossetti Brand Design that emphasizes the importance of protection and respect. Inspired by the need for safe and responsible intimacy, this design features symbolic representations of a protected bird in a cage-condom and a chameleon isolated in a test tube-condom.

Fallo protetto! is the name given to Coop condoms, created by Rossetti Brand Design. The name plays on a double meaning, with "Fallo" as a noun derived from the Latin word for the male organ erect, and "Fallo" as a verb meaning "to do." This clever wordplay highlights the importance of engaging in intimate activities while prioritizing protection and responsibility.

The Fallo protetto! boxes are printed with three special colors on white cardboard, creating a visually striking and attention-grabbing design. The condom packaging is available in two sizes: a normal size box measuring 65 x 120 x 20 mm and a big size box measuring 65 x 120 x 35 mm.

The design team behind Fallo protetto! includes Creative Director Paolo Rossetti, Copywriter and Naming expert Paolo Rossetti from Coop Italia, Senior Packaging Designer Carlo Bonfanti, and 3D Specialists Luca Uliana and Marco Gottardo. Their collaborative efforts resulted in a design that effectively communicates the message of protection and safe intimacy.

During the two-month duration of the project, extensive research was conducted to understand the styles and ideas adopted by competitors in the industry. The team focused on creating a design that stood out by using simple yet iconic drawings, avoiding typical category colors and patterns. The goal was to emphasize the idea of protection and encourage individuals to engage in safe sexual practices.

Fallo protetto! has received recognition for its exceptional design. In 2016, it was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and creativity. The Fallo protetto! design showcases remarkable technical characteristics and artistic skill, evoking positive emotions and a sense of wonder.
